Living off-grid in this 900 square foot cabin was made possible with a 3000 watt off-grid prefabricated solar kit with backup batteries. Karen and Ryan wanted to hear doves and night owls calling inside their California solar cabin, not a noisy generator. Solar panels combined with off-grid solar batteries all prebuilt and dropped on site was plug-n-play ready for Ryan to connect to the cabin.
This ground mount solar system has a battery backup to run power at night and is designed for rapid deployment on virtually any surface. The self-contained solar kit is basically plug-n-play with Ryan and Karen having to do minimal work to get it up and producing clean electricity. The Sun Pod solar kits are assembled, tested and shipped complete, ready to power-up on delivery to the project site with minimal effort.
Modular in design, a single prefabricated solar array is expandable with the capabilities to add additional modules later if Karen and Ryan choose to add-on to their cabin.
The prefabricated solar kit can also be designed as grid interactive and can act as an emergency electrical back-up, electrical car charger or off-grid energy source.
