Prepackaged solar module has 36 powerful 235 watt solar panels with the inverter which comes ready to provide clean AC power. Unlike traditional solar, you have the flexibility to install this 8460 watt grid-tied solar systems on the ground and on virtually any surface. The complete prepackaged solar units, called “SunPods”, are delivered by truck and lowered into place with minimal on-site construction required.

product range with the matching inverter type for any module type and any power class. - General Description - Grid-tied solar modular power units (SunPods) are factory built, pre-assembled, self-ballasted, ground-mount photovoltaic systems. The Grid-tied solar structural frames are built with heavy gauge cold rolled high tensile steel with an extremely durable G-90 galvanized finish. Structure frame components are bolted together with 7/16” (8.2 grade) galvanized steel bolts and nuts.
- Standard Grid-tied solar units are 20’-0” or 22’-2”-feet in length depending on solar module size and power output. The unit width is 9’-6” for both lengths. Standard grid-tied Grid-tied solar units’ weigh between 1,800 lbs to 2,100 lbs. Grid-tied systems weight varies depending on accessories specified by the customer.
- The Grid-tied solar module frame consists of three major sections:
(1.) Grid-tied solar power module has adjustable legs are rated @2,500 lb each with a galvanized zinc finish. Each leg independently adjusts within a vertical range of 36” to accommodate uneven terrain. Footpads are made with 3-ga G-90 steel and footpad size varies from
12” x 12” up to 24” x 24” depending soil conditions at site. (2.) Solar Module Support Rack
The solar module support rack supports the solar modules. - The grid-tied solar modules are attached onto steel tracks forming a solid monolithic unit panel for added strength and stability. solar modules are firmly secured to the track with tamper proof fasteners. The solar angle for each unit is set at the factory according to the host site requirements submitted to Blue Pacific Solar by the customer prior to shipping. The solar angle onsite may require further adjustment to conform to site conditions. This can be achieved by adjusting the leg height of the Grid-tied solar power platform.
- 8460 Watt Solar Ground Mount Balance of System Component Interconnectivity - At the factory, SunPods pre-wires the 12 installed solar panels on each SunPods power unit into a single series string. Each individual SunPods single-string wiring system is delivered with two standard power cables (+ / -) ready for Customer field applied connectors to connect each SunPods to the remainder of the balance of system components. In most cases, the two power cables (+ / -) would be connected through customer supplied conduit to the solar inverter using the standard wiring diagrams. In some cases, customer connects customer furnished NEC rated and sized cables from the SunPods unit paired cables to the fuse box, combiner box or inverter. Customer can utilize the SunPod frame to carry the cable and conduit across multiple SunPods units to fuse box, junction box and inverters to reduce trenching. Local building code officials should be consulted prior to permitting to determine if power cables from the solar array to the inverter requires an interim disconnect or can be connected directly to the inverter.
